1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Remove the handle of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl.
3. Remove a knee emphasis.
4. Remove a sleeve of an air line and the panel of furnish of knee level.
5. Remove a steering wheel (see. Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel).
6. Remove the top and bottom section of a casing of a steering column.
7. On the Galant models insert a key into the lock of ignition and turn it in situation ASS, then the small sharp tool push in zamkovy assembly a lock pin and take the lock cylinder.

On models from AT on a wall of the zamkovy cylinder the sliding lever of a drive of blocking of a key from which it is necessary to disconnect a driving cable is established.

8. At the corresponding complete set dismantle the alarm sensor switch of extraction of the ignition key.
9. Disconnect from the ignition switch electroconducting. Turn out fixing screws and take switch assembly from the zamkovy cylinder.

1. On models from AT take a key and establish on the lock cylinder the sliding lever and connect to it a driving cable. Grease a cable with greasing and establish the cylinder in a casing of zamkovy assembly. Check serviceability of functioning of a blokirator.
2. Fill the ignition switch in a back part of a casing of zamkovy assembly, - track correctness of combination of wells.
3. Connect electroconducting and establish a clamp.
4. Establish casings of a steering column.
5. Establish a steering wheel and a knee emphasis.
6. Establish the handle of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl.
7. Connect a negative wire to the battery, activate a safety cushion and check serviceability of functioning of the switch of ignition.

2. Deaktiviruyte a safety cushion (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
3. Remove a steering wheel (see. Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel).
4. Remove the handle of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl.
5. Remove located on the panel of a knee emphasis under a steering column switches, turn out the opened screws and dismantle an emphasis.
6. Remove the top and bottom sections of a casing of a steering column, - try not to break off directing uvulas.
7. If it is required, remove a sleeve of supply of air in a foot well, then accurately disconnect electroconducting from the ignition switch.
8. Turn out fixing screws and liberate the switch from the zamkovy cylinder.

1. Fill the switch in a casing of zamkovy assembly, - track correctness of combination of wells. Screw and tighten fixing screws.
2. Connect to the switch electroconducting.
3. Establish knee having blown and an air line sleeve.
4. Establish a knee emphasis and the panel of switches.
5. Establish the handle of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl.
6. Establish a steering wheel.
7. Establish casings of a steering column.
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery, activate a safety cushion and check serviceability of functioning of the switch of ignition.
