Models of 1.5 l and 1.8 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of a final collector on models of 1.5 l and 1.8 l are presented on illustrations.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!


3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
4. Give fixing nuts and separate a forward reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector. Remove sealing laying.
5. Lower the car on the earth.
6. Remove assembly of the fan of system of cooling.
7. If the oxygen sensor is established on a final collector, remove it.
8. Disconnect the corresponding components of system of a retsirkulyatsiya of the fulfilled gases (EGR).
9. Remove the external thermofilter of a final collector and an elevating eye of the power unit. Disconnect electroconducting from the oxygen sensor.
10. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the internal thermofilter and collector assembly.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a collector and the block, then wipe their rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on a collector new sealing laying. Establish a collector on the regular place and tighten fixture with demanded effort (for engines of 1.5 l: 18 H • m, for engines of 1.8 l: internal nuts - 18 H • the m, two external (big) - 30 H • м).

Tightening make evenly, in a diagonal order.


3. Establish thermofilters.
4. Connect the EGR components.
5. If removed, establish into place the oxygen sensor.
6. Establish assembly of the fan of system of cooling.
7. Connect to a final collector a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases.
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery and check system of production of the fulfilled gases on existence of signs of leaks.


Engines of 1.6 l and 2.0 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of a final collector on models of 1.6 l and 2.0 l are presented on illustrations.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!


3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
4. Give fixing nuts and separate a forward reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector. Remove sealing laying.
5. Lower the car on the earth.
6. On the models equipped with central air of air, remove assembly of the fan of system.
7. By means of the special MD998703 adaptation, or its analog, disconnect and remove the oxygen sensor.
8. Remove the external thermofilter of a final collector and an elevating eye of the power unit.
9. Turn out fixing bolts and remove from the engine the internal thermofilter and collector assembly.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a collector and the block, then wipe their rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on a collector new sealing laying. Establish a collector on the regular place and tighten fixture with demanded effort (for engines of 2.0 l of SOHC: 15 ÷ 20 H • m, for engines of 1.6 l and 2.0 l of DOHC: 25 ÷ 30 H • м).

Tightening make evenly, in a diagonal order.


3. Establish the external thermofilter, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort
(14 H • м).
4. If removed, establish into place fan assembly.
5. Connect to a final collector a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases (do not forget to replace sealing laying). Screw fixing nuts and tighten them with demanded effort (40 ÷ 50 H • м).
6. Connect a negative wire to the battery and check system of production of the fulfilled gases on existence of signs of leaks.


Engines of 2.4 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.

3. Give fixing nuts and a bolt basic подвеса, then separate a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector. Remove sealing laying.

4. Remove the external thermofilter of a final collector and an elevating eye of the power unit.

5. Give fixing nuts and remove assembly of a final collector from the engine.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a collector and the block, then wipe their rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on a collector new sealing laying. Establish a collector on the regular place and tighten fixing nuts with demanded effort (25 ÷ 29 H • м).

Tightening of fixture make evenly, in a diagonal order.

3. Establish thermofilters, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (14 H • м).
4. Connect to a final collector a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases (do not forget to replace sealing laying). Screw fixing nuts and tighten them with demanded effort
(44 H • м).
5. Connect a negative wire to the battery and check system of production of the fulfilled gases on existence of signs of leaks.


Engines of 3.0 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of a final collector on models of 3.0 l are presented on illustrations.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
4. Give fixing nuts and separate a forward reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector.
5. Lower the car on the earth.
6. For removal of a forward collector previously dismantle assembly of the fan of central air of air.
7. For removal of a forward collector on DOHC engines previously dismantle generator assembly with a basic arm.
8. On DOHC engines remove the To/in compressor from the basic arm and, without disconnecting refrigerator lines, take him aside.
9. For removal of a forward collector take щуп measurements of dulny oil and dismantle its directing tube.
10. For removal of a forward collector on DOHC engines remove the thermofilter.
11. For removal of a back collector disconnect EGR tube.
12. For removal of a back collector on SOHC engines previously dismantle a rack of the delivery chamber of an inlet air path and unscrew aside an arm of a jet emphasis.
13. Disconnect electroconducting and remove the oxygen sensor.
14. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of a final collector.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a collector and the block, then wipe their rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on a collector new sealing laying. Establish a collector on the regular place and tighten fixing nuts with demanded effort (for SOHC engines: 30 H • m, for DOHC engines: 19 H • м).

Tightening of fixture make evenly, in a diagonal order.

3. Establish thermofilters.
4. At the corresponding complete set connect EGR tube, establish a rack of the delivery chamber and an arm of a jet emphasis.
5. Establish into place the oxygen sensor.
6. Establish fan assembly, the To/in compressor, directing tube measuring щупа and generator assembly.
7. Connect to a final collector a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases (do not forget to replace sealing laying).
8. Establish to the place of a driving belt (and) and adjust effort of its (their) tension.
9. Connect a negative wire to the battery and check system of production of the fulfilled gases on existence of signs of leaks.


Engines of 3.5 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of a final collector on models of 3.5 l are presented on an illustration.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
4. Give fixing nuts and separate a forward reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector.
5. For removal of a back collector disconnect EGR tube.
6. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of a final collector.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a collector and the block, then wipe their rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on a collector new sealing laying. Establish a collector on the regular place and tighten fixing nuts with demanded effort (30 H • м).

Tightening of fixture make evenly, in a diagonal order.

3. Establish the thermofilter (ы).
4. At installation of a back collector connect EGR tube.
5. At installation of a forward collector establish into place assembly of the fan of system of cooling with a radiator.
6. At installation of a forward collector establish into place the generator.
7. Establish a driving belt (and) and adjust effort of its (their) tension.
8. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
9. Connect to a final collector a reception pipe of system of release fulfilled gases/assembly of the catalytic converter (do not forget to replace sealing laying).
10. Lower the car on the earth.
11. Connect a negative wire to the battery and check system of production of the fulfilled gases on existence of signs of leaks.
