Engines of 1.5 l and 1.8 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of the oil pump on models of 1.5 l and 1.8 l are presented on illustrations.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
4. Merge impellent oil.
5. Prop up the engine a telezhechny jack (for the purpose of distribution of loading lay between a head of a jack and the case pallet wooden whetstone).
6. Remove an arm of a forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit and belts of a drive of auxiliary units.
7. Remove the top and bottom sections of a cover of a drive of GRM.
8. Remove a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt) and cogwheel of a cranked shaft.
9. Remove the case pallet (see. The section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine) and a maslozabornik with the mesh filter (do not forget about laying).
10. Turn out bolts of fastening of a forward cover (case) the pump, - pay attention that bolts have various length and at assembly should be established strictly on the former places.
11. Remove pump assembly.
12. Remove a back cover of pump assembly.
13. Take from the pump case internal and external rotors.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of components of pump assembly and the engine block, having completely removed from them traces of old hermetic. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Plentifully grease both rotors of the pump with pure impellent oil and lay them in the case of pump assembly, having tracked observance of correctness of the direction of rotation of components.
3. Establish a back cover of the pump. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (10 H • м).
4. Grease with impellent oil components of the reduktsionny valve and establish them in a demanded order on the regular place. Screw a cap and tighten it with demanded effort (45 H • м).
5. Replace a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft, having plentifully greased sealing sponges of a new element with pure impellent oil.
6. Having replaced laying, establish pump assembly on the engine block. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (14 H • м).
7. Establish a maslozabornik with the mesh filter, - tighten fixing bolts with effort of 19 H • m.
8. Establish into place the case pallet (see. Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).
9. Establish a cogwheel of a cranked shaft and a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt). Establish covers of a drive of GRM. Establish driving belts and an arm of a forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
10. Fill in in the engine fresh impellent oil of the corresponding grade, correctly having modified its level.
11. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of development of leaks.


Engines of 1.6 l, 2.0 l and 2.4 l

After pump dismantle before installation it is necessary to fill his cavity with technical vaseline, - do not use any alternative greasings!


Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Bring the engine into the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder.
3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props. Merge impellent oil.
4. Prop up the engine a telezhechny jack (for the purpose of distribution of loading lay between a head of a jack and the case pallet wooden whetstone).
5. Remove an arm of a forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit and belts of a drive of auxiliary units.
6. Remove the top and bottom sections of a cover of a drive of GRM.
7. Remove a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt) and cogwheel of a cranked shaft.
8. Disconnect electroconducting and remove the sensor of a measuring instrument of pressure of oil.
9. Remove the polnopotochny oil filter and its basic arm.
10. Remove the case pallet (see. The section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine) and a maslozabornik with the mesh filter, - do not forget to remove also sealing laying.

11. By means of the special MD998162 adaptation take a cap from a forward cover of the engine.

12. Turn out a stopper from a wall of the block of the engine, - into the released opening for the purpose of fixing of a balancing shaft enter a krestovy screw-driver with a sting in diameter of 8 mm.

13. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a conducted gear wheel of the pump to a balancing shaft.
14. Turn out bolts of fastening of a forward cover of pump assembly.

In case of need the balancing shaft can be taken together with a pump cover.

15. Uncover the pump, located behind a forward cover of the engine. Take from pump assembly conducting and conducted gear wheels.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully wash out and dry the removed components. Lay gear wheels in a forward casing of the pump and manually check freedom of their rotation. Make sure of lack of regional wear of surfaces of covers contacting to gear wheels.
2. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of components of pump assembly and the engine block, having completely removed from them traces of old hermetic. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.

3. Achieve the correct combination of adjusting labels, plant conducting and conducted gear wheels on the regular places in forward section of the case of pump assembly.

4. Establish a pump cover. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (18 H • м).
5. By means of a suitable opravka plant in the forward case a new epiploon of a cranked shaft.
6. Lay new laying of forward section of the case of pump assembly. For the purpose of protection of an epiploon against damage plant on a forward pin of a cranked shaft directing MD998285 adaptation, - slightly grease external edge directing with impellent oil.
7. Press forward section of pump assembly to laying, having temporarily tightened it fixing bolts.
8. Having replaced laying, establish the oil filter on a basic arm. Screw fixing boats (do not forget to enclose a washer) and tighten them with demanded effort (19 H • м).
9. Having passed a 8-millimetric krestovy screw-driver in an opening in the block, fix a balancing shaft.
10. Plant a leading gear wheel of the pump on a pin of the left balancing shaft and tighten a bolt of its fastening with effort of 37 H • m.
11. Having planted in a flute on forward section of the case a new sealing ring, establish a cap, having tightened it with effort of 24 N of m by means of a special head of MD998162.
12. Having replaced laying, establish into place a maslozabornik.
13. Having carefully wiped interfaced surfaces and having imposed a hermetic pillow, establish the case pallet on the engine block (see. Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine). Fix the pallet holders, having tightened bolts of fastening of the last with effort of 7 H • m.
14. Establish the block of a measuring instrument and the sensor switch of pressure of oil, restore initial connection of electroconducting.
15. Establish into place a maslookhladitel, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (43 H • м).

16. Finally tighten bolts of fastening of forward section of the case of the pump with demanded effort.

17. Establish the new oil filter.
18. Fill in in the engine necessary amount of engine oil of a demanded grade.
19. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
20. Check pressure of oil and make sure of lack of signs of development of its leaks.


Engines of 3.0 l

Removal

10. Turn out bolts of fastening of a forward cover (case) the pump, - pay attention that bolts have various length and at assembly should be established strictly on the former places.
11. Remove pump assembly.
12. In case of need remove a back cover of pump assembly and take from the pump case internal and external rotors.


Installation

8. Establish into place the case pallet (see. Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).
9. Establish a cogwheel of a cranked shaft and a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt). Establish covers of a drive of GRM.
10. Establish driving belts and an arm of a forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
11. Fill in in the engine fresh impellent oil of the corresponding grade, correctly having modified its level.
12. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of development of leaks.


Engines of 3.5 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of the oil pump on models of 3.5 l are presented on an illustration.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
4. Merge impellent oil.
5. Remove a loker of protection of a wheel arch.
6. Remove a transitional nozzle of the oil filter.
7. Remove the top and bottom sections of the pallet of a case.
8. Remove the bottom maslootrazhayushchy plate, a maslozabornik and the top maslootrazhayushchy plate.
9. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the case of the oil pump.
10. Uncover the oil pump.
11. Mark the adjusting provision of rotors, then take them from pump assembly.
12. Take an epiploon of a cranked shaft from the landing nest in molding of the case of the oil pump.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of components of pump assembly and the engine block, having completely removed from them traces of old hermetic. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Plant a new epiploon of a cranked shaft in a reception nest in the case of the oil pump.
3. Grease rotors with pure impellent oil, achieve combination of adjusting labels, then plant components in the case of pump assembly.
4. Establish a cover of the pump screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (10 H • м).
5. Impose on an interfaced surface of pump assembly a hermetic pillow in thickness of 3 mm. Press the pump to the engine block, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (14 H • м).
6. Establish the top maslootrazhayushchy plate and a maslozabornik (do not forget to replace laying). Tighten bolts of fastening of a plate with effort of 10 H • m, a maslozabornik - 18 H • m.
7. Plant the bottom maslootrazhayushchy plate in the top section of the pallet of a case. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (11 H • м).
8. Establish sections of the pallet of a case on the engine block (see. Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).
9. Having replaced laying, establish a transitional nozzle of the oil filter, - big fixing bolts are tightened with effort of 41 H • m, smaller - 23 H • m.
10. Establish a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt) and covers of a drive of GRM.
11. Establish driving belts and an arm of a forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
12. Fill in in the engine fresh impellent oil of the corresponding grade, correctly having modified its level (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
13. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
14. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of development of leaks.
