Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The scheme of installation of the inlet pipeline on engines of 1.5 l is presented on an illustration.
2. At work with components of a power supply system observe all taken measures of fire safety. Do not smoke! Do not come nearer to a venue of works with open fire or unprotected by the lamp shade carrying! Do not make system service in the rooms equipped with working at natural gas and heating devices equipped with a control torch (such as водогреи and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., - the substances promoting development of a cancer! Try not to allow fuel hits on open sites of a body, use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact to fuel carefully wash out hands warm water with soap. Immediately collect the spilled fuel and do not put the rags impregnated with a fuels and lubricants near sources of open fire. Remember that the power supply system equipped with injection of fuel of models constantly is under pressure. Before starting a detachment of fuel lines, dump residual pressure in system. At service of components of a power supply system put on goggles. Constantly hold near at hand the class B fire extinguisher!
3. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action! Dump pressure in a power supply system (see. Head of the Power supply system and release).

Remember that gasoline is extremely inflammable liquid! Empty cooling system.

In order to avoid receiving burns, start performance of this work only after final cooling of system! Do not allow antifreeze hit on open sites of a body and the painted surfaces of the car. Casually got splashes immediately wash away a plentiful quantity of water. Remember that antifreeze is extremely toxic liquid and its hit in an organism even in small amounts is fraught with the most serious consequences (up to a lethal outcome). Never leave antifreeze being stored in leaky closed container and immediately collect cooling liquid spilled on a floor. Remember that the sweetish smell of antifreeze can draw to itself attention of children and animals. About ways utilization of the fulfilled cooling liquid consult at any station of car-care center. In many regions of the world special points on different reception of working off are equipped. At all do not merge old cooling liquid in the sewerage and on the earth!

4. Disconnect the top radiatorny hose, a hose of a heater and perepuskny a hose of a water path.
5. Remove from the inlet pipeline a thermostat casing (see. Section Removal and thermostat installation).
6. Disconnect a gas cable, a branch pipe сапуна and an inlet air line.
7. Disconnect all disturbing to performance of the forthcoming procedure vacuum hoses and tubes, including the line of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
8. Remove assembly of the case of a throttle.
9. Disconnect lines of giving and fuel return.
10. Mark and disconnect electroconducting from the oxygen sensor, the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, the sensor of temperature of soaked-up air (IAT), assembly of management by turns of idling and the sensor of temperature of EGR. Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a distributor cover.
11. Remove the fuel highway assembled with injectors, a regulator of pressure of fuel and insulating plugs.
12. Remove from the inlet pipeline the EGR valve.
13. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline and an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
14. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline and a head of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and fragments of a material of old laying. Make sure of passableness of water and air channels, - in case of need make their pro-cleaning. In summary wipe interfaced surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. By means of a planeness measuring instrument (an edge of a steel ruler) and щупа lezviyny type estimate degree of not planeness of an interfaced surface of the inlet pipeline (see. To the specification), in case of need give the pipeline to a pro-point.
3. Lay on an interfaced surface of a head of cylinders new sealing laying, from above press assembly of the inlet pipeline. Screw fixing bolts and, moving in a diagonal order from within outside, evenly tighten them with demanded effort (18 H • м).
4. Establish a basic arm of the inlet pipeline, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (22 H • м).
5. Establish an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (36 H • м).
20 Having replaced sealing laying, establish the EGR valve, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (21 H • м).
6. Having replaced insulating plugs and sealing rings, establish on the engine the fuel highway with injectors and a pressure regulator. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (10 ÷ 14 H • м).
7. Connect electroconducting to the oxygen sensor, sensors of temperature of cooling liquid, IAT and EGR and assembly of management by idling turns. Connect wire VV to spark plugs and to the distributor.
8. Having replaced, respectively, a sealing ring and a fixing collar, restore initial connection of lines of giving and fuel return.
9. Establish the throttle case.
10. Connect vacuum hoses and tubes (including a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes).
11. Connect (and adjust) a gas cable, a branch pipe сапуна and an inlet air inlet.
12. Having replaced laying, establish on the inlet pipeline thermostat assembly (see. Section Removal and thermostat installation). Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (18 H • м).
13. Connect the top radiatorny hose, a heating hose and perepuskny a hose of a water path. Track reliability of fixing of hoses fixing collars.
14. Fill in in cooling system necessary quantity of a mix of a demanded grade (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
15. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the thermostat should work). Check level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
16. Check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance). Wait cooling of the engine and once again check level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 1.8 l

Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a distributor cover.
6. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS) and, fuel injectors. Also disconnect grounding tires.
7. Disconnect all disturbing to performance of the forthcoming procedure vacuum hoses and tubes, including lines of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and PCV system.
8. Disconnect the top radiatorny hose, a hose of a heater and perepuskny a hose of a water path.
9. Disconnect lines of giving and fuel return.
10. Remove the fuel highway assembled with injectors, a regulator of pressure of fuel and insulating plugs.
11. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline.
12. In case of need, if disturbs, remove from the pipeline a thermostat casing.
13. Give fixing bolts/nuts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

7. Having replaced, respectively, a sealing ring and a fixing collar, restore initial connection of lines of giving and fuel return.
8. Connect the top radiatorny hose, a heating hose and perepuskny a hose of a water path. Track reliability of fixing of hoses fixing collars.
9. Connect vacuum hoses and tubes (including lines of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and PCV system).
10. Connect electroconducting to TPS and fuel injectors, restore grounding.
11. to the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid and EGR, assembly of management by turns of idling and the sensor switch
12. Connect electroconducting to the oxygen sensor, sensors of temperature of cooling liquid and EGR, assembly of management by turns of idling and the sensor switch of pressure of oil. Connect wire VV to spark plugs and to the distributor.
13. Connect (and adjust) a cable of gas and an inlet air inlet.
14. Fill in in cooling system necessary quantity of a mix of a demanded grade (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
15. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the thermostat should work). Check level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
16. Check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
17. Wait cooling of the engine and once again check level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 2.0 l of SOHC

8. Mark and disconnect electroconducting from the oxygen sensor, the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, assembly of management by turns of idling, the sensor of temperature of EGR and injectors of injection of fuel. Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a distributor cover. Take aside a plait of electroconducting of the engine.
9. Having marked landing situation on the inlet pipeline, remove distributor assembly.
10. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline and an elevating eye of the power unit.
11. In case of need, if disturbs, remove from the pipeline a thermostat casing.
12. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline. On a workbench dismantle assembly, having removed from the pipeline the delivery chamber.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline and a head of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and fragments of a material of old laying. Make sure of passableness of water and air channels, - in case of need make their pro-cleaning. In summary wipe interfaced surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Establish on the inlet pipeline the delivery chamber. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (15 ÷ 19 H • м).
3. Lay on an interfaced surface of a head of cylinders new sealing laying, from above press assembly of the inlet pipeline. Screw fixing bolts and, moving in a diagonal order from within outside, evenly tighten them with demanded effort (15 ÷ 19 H • м).
4. Establish on the engine the fuel highway with injectors and a pressure regulator. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (6 H • м).
5. If removed, establish into place a thermostat casing.
6. Establish a basic arm of the inlet pipeline and an elevating eye of the power unit.
7. Restore initial connection of all lines of communication and electroconducting.
8. Achieving combination of the landing labels put in the course of dismantle, establish on the regular place the ignition distributor.
9. Fill in in cooling system necessary quantity of a mix of a demanded grade (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
10. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the thermostat should work). Check level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
11. Adjust a gas cable, check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
12. Wait cooling of the engine and once again check level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 1.6 l and 2.0 l of DOHC

Removal

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action! Empty cooling system.

In order to avoid receiving burns, start performance of this work only after final cooling of system! Do not allow antifreeze hit on open sites of a body and the painted surfaces of the car. 4. Disconnect a cable of gas and an inlet air inlet.
5. Disconnect a hose of an okhladitelny path from the throttle case.
6. Disconnect all disturbing to performance of the forthcoming procedure vacuum hoses and tubes, including lines of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and PCV system.
7. Disconnect lines of giving and fuel return. Remove directing arms of a cable of a drive of a butterfly valve.
8. Mark and disconnect electroconducting from the oxygen sensor, the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, the thermosensitive sensor switch, TPS, assembly of management by turns of idling, the sensor of temperature of EGR and injectors of injection of fuel. Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a distributor cover. Take aside a plait of electroconducting of the engine.
9. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline.
10. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline. In case of need transfer the pipeline on a workbench and make its dismantling.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline and a head of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and fragments of a material of old laying. Make sure of passableness of water and air channels, - in case of need make their pro-cleaning. In summary wipe interfaced surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. In case of need, having replaced laying, collect the pipeline.
3. Lay on an interfaced surface of a head of cylinders new sealing laying, from above press assembly of the inlet pipeline. Screw fixing bolts and, moving in a diagonal order from within outside, evenly tighten them with demanded effort (15 ÷ 20 H • м).
4. Establish on the engine the fuel highway with injectors and a pressure regulator. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (6 H • м).
5. Establish a basic arm of the inlet pipeline, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (18 ÷ 25 H • м).
6. Restore initial connection of all lines of communication and electroconducting.
7. Fill in in cooling system necessary quantity of a mix of a demanded grade (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the thermostat should work). Check level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
9. Adjust a gas cable, check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
10. Wait cooling of the engine and once again check level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 2.8 l

Take aside a plait of electroconducting of the engine.

8. Previously having marked, disconnect VV electroconducting from spark plugs.

9. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline.

10. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline. In case of need transfer the pipeline on a workbench and make its dismantling.

4. Remove an inlet air line (ы).
5. Disconnect cables of a drive of a butterfly valve from the throttle case.
6. Mark and disconnect vacuum hoses, including a hose of the brake amplifier.
7. Mark and disconnect disturbing to procedure performance electroconducting.
8. Disconnect lines of giving and fuel return. Remove directing arms of a cable of a drive of a butterfly valve.
9. Disconnect a tube of EGR and remove from assembly of the delivery chamber of the inlet pipeline the EGR valve and the sensor of temperature of EGR.
10. At the corresponding complete set remove the MAR sensor.
11. Remove a basic arm of the delivery chamber.
12. Give fixing bolts and nuts and remove the delivery chamber from the inlet pipeline. Laying is subject to replacement without fail!
13. Remove the top cover of a drive of GRM.
14. Remove a basic arm of the water pump.
15. Remove the fuel highway with injectors.
16. Disconnect from the inlet pipeline hoses of an okhladitelny path, - try to remember routes of laying and an order of connection of hoses.
17. Give fixing nuts and remove the inlet pipeline from the engine.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline, the delivery chamber and heads of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and fragments of a material of old laying. Make sure of passableness of water and air channels, - in case of need make their pro-cleaning. In summary wipe interfaced surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Check surfaces on existence of cracks, estimate degree of their not planeness (see. Specifications). Faulty components replace.
3. Lay on interfaced surfaces of heads of cylinders new sealing laying (the sticky party up).
4. Establish assembly of the inlet pipeline on a regular place.
5. Slightly oil hairpins and screw fixing nuts.
6. Tighten fixture with demanded effort (see. Specifications).
7. Connect to the inlet pipeline hoses of an okhladitelny path and fix them new collars.
8. Having replaced sealing rings, establish into place assembly of the fuel highway. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (10 ÷ 13 H • м).
9. Having replaced sealing laying, establish the delivery chamber and tighten elements of its fixture (bolt/nut) with demanded effort (18 H • м).
10. Establish a basic arm and tighten bolts of its fastening with demanded effort (18 H • м).
11. If removed, establish into place the MAR sensor.
12. Having replaced laying, establish the EGR valve, screw also fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (22 H • м).
13. Establish the sensor of temperature of EGR and tighten its shtutserny socket with effort of 10 ÷ 12 H • m.
14. Connect a tube of EGR and tighten its shtutserny sockets with effort of 60 H • m.
15. Having replaced a sealing ring, connect a tube of supply of fuel. Tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort (5 H • м).
16. Connect the line of return of fuel and fix it on the union by means of a new collar.
17. Establish a basic arm of the water pump.
18. Establish the top covers of a drive of GRM.
19. Restore initial connection of electroconducting and vacuum hoses.
20. Connect and adjust cables of a drive of a butterfly valve.
21. Establish to the place of an inlet air line (ы).
22. Fill in in cooling system necessary quantity of a mix of a demanded grade (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
23. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the thermostat should work). Check level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
24. Check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
25. Wait cooling of the engine and once again check level of cooling liquid.
