Engines of 2.0 l and 2. 4 l

For performance of this procedure the special opravka under MD998285 epiploon, and also the MD998162 adaptation for cap extraction from a forward cover of the engine is required.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of balancing shaft on engines of 2.0 l and 2.4 l are presented on an illustration.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
4. Merge impellent oil.
5. Remove the oil filter, the sensor switch of pressure of oil, the sensor of a measuring instrument buttering, a basic arm and sealing laying of the oil filter.
6. Remove the case pallet, a maslozabornik and sealing laying.
7. Turn out a cap and take components of the reduktsionny valve of the oil pump (do not forget to remove a sealing washer).
8. Lower the car on the earth.
9. Hang out the engine on the winch.
10. Remove an arm of a forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit and a belt of a drive of auxiliary units.
11. Remove gear belts and wheels of a drive of GRM / a balancing shaft.
12. By means of the special MD998162 tool take a cap from a forward cover of the engine.
13. Take a stopper from a lateral wall of the block and, having passed in the opened opening a krestovy screw-driver with a sting in diameter of 8 mm, block it a balancing shaft.
14. Turn out a fastening bolt to a balancing shaft of a conducted gear wheel of the oil pump.
15. Turn out and mark bolts of fastening of a forward cover, - bolts have various length and at installation should be rolled strictly on the former places.
16. Remove a forward cover of the case of the oil pump.

In case of need the balancing shaft can be taken assembled with a cover.

17. Remove epiploons balancing both cranked in bulk and sealing laying of a forward cover.
18. Take balancing shaft and estimate degree of their wear. Check passableness маслотока in bulk, check a condition of bearing necks. Measure sizes of working gaps in bearings and compare results of measurement to requirements of Specifications (the forward bearing of the right shaft: 0.03 ÷ 0.06 mm, back bearing of the right shaft: 0.02 ÷ 0.05 mm; forward bearing of the left shaft: 0.05 ÷ 0.09 mm, back bearing of the left shaft: 0.04 ÷ 0.08 mm). In case of need make replacement of the corresponding bearings, a shaft or a forward cover.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease surfaces of bearings and bearing necks of shaft with pure impellent oil. Carefully fill balancing shaft in the engine block.
2. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the block and a forward cover of the engine, having in summary wiped their rags moistened in acetone. Establish new sealing laying.
3. Having tracked correctness of combination of adjusting labels, plant in assembly of a forward casing of the oil pump conducting and conducted gear wheels.
4. Grease gear wheels with impellent oil. Having replaced sealing laying, establish a cover of the oil pump. screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (18 H • м).
5. Having used as an opravka a face head of the corresponding size, or a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter, plant in the nest in a forward casing of the engine a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft.
6. Again having picked up a suitable opravka, press in a forward casing an epiploon of a balancing shaft.
7. Fix on a pin of a cranked shaft the MD998285 tool. Grease with pure impellent oil external edge of the directing tool.
8. Establish on the engine a forward casing. Screw and temporarily tighten flange bolts.
9. Having replaced laying, establish a basic arm of the oil filter. Screw four fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (22 H • м).
10. Pass a 8-millimetric sting of a krestovy screw-driver in a lateral opening in the block.
11. Fix a conducted gear wheel of the oil pump on the left balancing shaft, - tighten a flange bolt with effort of 40 H • m.
12. Plant in a flute in a forward casing a new sealing ring. By means of a special driving head establish a stopper and tighten it with effort of 27 H • m.
13. Fill in the nest in a basic arm of the oil filter components of the reduktsionny valve (a plunzher and a spring), tighten with demanded effort (50 H • м) a cap.

Do not forget to replace sealing laying.

14. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the pallet of a case and the engine block.
15. Lay in a flute on a pallet flange a hermetic pillow in width about 4 mm (hermetic is put from the interior of boltovy openings).
16. Not later than in 15 minutes after drawing of hermetic press the pallet to the block and establish holders. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (8 H • м).
17. Establish measuring assembly and the sensor of pressure of impellent oil. Restore initial connection of electroconducting.
18. Establish the new oil filter and fill in in the engine fresh engine oil of the corresponding grade (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
19. Establish gear belts and other components of a drive of GRM and balancing shaft. Make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt).
20. Establish other components acting in film for the purpose of ensuring access.
21. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of development of leaks.
22. Check correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment.
