Removal and installation of a head of cylinders

Engines of 1.5 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system.

Remember that gasoline is extremely inflammable liquid! At work with components of a power supply system observe all taken measures of fire safety. Do not smoke! Do not come nearer to a venue of works with open fire or unprotected by the lamp shade carrying! Do not make system service in the rooms equipped with working at natural gas and heating devices equipped with a control torch (such as водогреи and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., - the substances promoting development of a cancer! Try not to allow fuel hits on open sites of a body, use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact to fuel carefully wash out hands warm water with soap. Immediately collect the spilled fuel and do not put the rags impregnated with a fuels and lubricants near sources of open fire. Remember that the power supply system equipped with injection of fuel of models constantly is under pressure. Before starting a detachment of fuel lines, dump residual pressure in system. At service of components of a power supply system put on goggles. Constantly hold near at hand the class B fire extinguisher!

2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. Empty cooling system.

In order to avoid receiving burns, start performance of the listed works only after final cooling of system! Do not allow antifreeze hit on open sites of a body and the painted surfaces of the car. Casually got splashes immediately wash away a plentiful quantity of water. Remember that antifreeze is extremely toxic liquid and its hit in an organism even in small amounts is fraught with the most serious consequences (up to a lethal outcome). Never leave antifreeze being stored in leaky closed container and immediately collect cooling liquid spilled on a floor. Remember that the sweetish smell of antifreeze can draw to itself attention of children and animals. About ways utilization of the fulfilled cooling liquid consult at any station of car-care center. In many regions of the world special points on different reception of working off are equipped. At all do not merge old cooling liquid in the sewerage and on the earth!

4. Remove air purifier assembly with an air inlet sleeve.
5. Disconnect the tire of grounding and a gas cable.
6. Disconnect a branch pipe сапуна and a hose of system of ventilation of a case (PCV).
7. Previously having marked, disconnect vacuum hoses from the inlet pipeline and the throttle case.
8. Disconnect the vacuum line from assembly of the servo-driver of the brake amplifier.
9. Remove the top radiatorny hose, the hoses brought to the case of a throttle and hoses of a path of system of heating of salon.
10. Disconnect lines of giving and fuel return.
11. Remove VV electroconducting.
12. Disconnect electroconducting from sensors of provision of cranked (SKR) and distributive (SMR) of shaft, the oxygen sensor (О2), the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (eats) also the sensor of a measuring instrument of temperature of the engine, the driving electromotor of the actuation mechanism of system of stabilization of turns of idling (ISC), the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS), the sensor of temperature of soaked-up air (IAT) and the sensor of temperature of the fulfilled gases of system of a retsirkulyatsiya (EGR).
13. Disconnect electroconducting from the distributor of ignition, injectors of injection of fuel and the power transistor. Remove the grounding tire.
14. Disconnect electroconducting of a control system by the engine.
15. Remove a clamp of fastening of a hose of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (GUR) on an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
16. Prop up the engine a telezhechny jack (for distribution of loading lay between a head of a jack and the case pallet wooden whetstone). Cock a jack, having completely unloaded a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit, then release fixture and remove a support arm.
17. Uncover heads of cylinders.
18. Remove the top cover of a drive of GRM.
19. Having turned a cranked shaft clockwise, achieve combination of adjusting labels.
20. A wire fix a gas-distributing belt on a camshaft cogwheel.
21. Block a camshaft from a provorachivaniye and remove its cogwheel together with the gear belt tied up to it.
22. Remove the top section of a back cover of a drive of GRM.
23. Separate a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector.

24. Operating strictly in a certain order, in three steps, release bolts of fastening of a head.

25. Remove a head from the block of cylinders.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and a material of old laying. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on the block new sealing laying (identification marking up).

Laying keeps within dry, without application of any hermetics.


3. Accurately establish a head on the block. Screw fixing bolts and, it is strict in a certain order, in some stages, tighten them with demanded effort (see. Specifications).

4. Having replaced laying, connect a reception pipe to a final collector.
5. Establish a back cover of a drive of GRM.
6. Having achieved the correct combination of adjusting labels, establish into place a camshaft cogwheel. Screw a fixing bolt and tighten it with demanded effort (70 H • м). Adjust effort of a tension of a gas-distributing belt, then establish an external cover of a drive of GRM.
7. Establish into place a cover of a head of cylinders. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (1.8 H • м).
8. Establish an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit, lower a jack and take it from under the car.
9. Establish a clamp of fastening of a hose of GUR on an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
10. Connect electroconducting to SKR, SMR sensors, О2, eats, TR, IAT and EGR temperatures, and also to the driving electromotor of the ISC actuation mechanism.
11. Connect electroconducting to the ignition distributor, injectors of injection of fuel and the power transistor. Restore initial connection of the tire of grounding.
12. Connect a plait of electroconducting of a control system of the engine.
13. Having replaced sealing rings, connect lines of giving and fuel return.
14. Establish air purifier assembly. Connect a branch pipe сапуна.
15. Fill in in the engine fresh cooling liquid (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
16. Connect a negative wire to the battery.


Engines of 1.8 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Remove air purifier assembly with an air inlet sleeve.
3. Empty cooling system.

4. Disconnect the vacuum line from assembly of the servo-driver of the brake amplifier and a hose of system of ventilation of a case (PCV)
5. Previously having marked, disconnect vacuum hoses from the inlet pipeline and the throttle case.
6. Remove the top radiatorny hose, a perelivny tube, and also the hoses brought to the thermostat and the case of a throttle.
7. Disconnect lines of giving and fuel return.
8. Disconnect from the throttle case a gas cable.
9. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor switch of pressure of oil.
10. Disconnect electroconducting from the oxygen sensor (О2), the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (eats) also the sensor of a measuring instrument of temperature of the engine, the driving electromotor of the actuation mechanism of system of stabilization of turns of idling (supply of additional air) (IAC), the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS), the sensor of a detonation and injectors of injection of fuel.
11. Remove candle wires.
12. To Otboltita also take aside assembly burn down control system electroconductings.
13. Remove a casing of the thermostat and its sealing ring.
14. Uncover heads of cylinders.
15. Remove the top cover of a gas-distributing belt.
16. Having turned a cranked shaft clockwise, achieve combination of adjusting labels.
17. A wire fix a gas-distributing belt on a camshaft cogwheel.
18. Block a camshaft from a provorachivaniye and remove its cogwheel together with the gear belt tied up to it.
19. Remove the top section of a back cover of a drive of GRM.

20. Operating strictly in a certain order, in three steps, release bolts of fastening of a head.

21. Remove a head from the block of cylinders.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and a material of old laying. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on the block new sealing laying (identification marking up).

Laying keeps within dry, without application of any hermetics.

3. Accurately establish a head on the block.
4. Estimate a condition of fixing bolts, replace the bolts which length exceeds value of 96.4 mm.
5. Before installation slightly grease a carving part of bolts with liquid lubricating oil. Under heads enclose washers (a facet outside).

6. Screw fixing bolts and, it is strict in a certain order, in some stages, tighten them with demanded effort (see. Specifications).

7. Establish a camshaft cogwheel, block it from a provorachivaniye a suitable key, then screw a fixing bolt and tighten it with demanded effort (90 H • м). Track correctness of combination of adjusting labels.
8. Establish the top cover of a drive of a gas-distributing belt and a cover of a head of cylinders. Bolts of fastening of the last tighten with effort of 3 H • m.
9. For the purpose of simplification of installation of a casing of the thermostat weaken a bolt of fastening of the water pump.
10. On interfaced to a thermostat casing a surface of a water branch pipe impose a pillow of hermetic of the MD97389 type.
11. Having moistened with water, establish a new sealing ring of a branch pipe of production of water, then press a thermostat casing to the last. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (22 H • м).
12. Connect electroconducting to sensors O2, ECT (and a temperature measuring instrument), temperatures of EGR, TPS and a detonation, and also to the driving IAC motor and injectors of injection of fuel.
13. Connect the top radiatorny hose to a thermostat casing.
14. Connect to the throttle case a gas cable.
15. Connect the sensor switch of pressure of impellent oil.
16. Connect wire VV to spark plugs.
17. Having replaced a sealing ring and a fixing collar, connect hoses of giving and fuel return.
18. Establish an air inlet sleeve. Connect a branch pipe сапуна and establish into place an air purifier cover.
19. Connect vacuum hoses of the brake amplifier and system of ventilation of a case (PCV).
20. Fill in in the engine fresh cooling liquid (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
21. Connect a negative wire to the battery.


Engines of 2.0 l of SOHC

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

2. Empty cooling system.

3. Remove an air inlet sleeve.
4. Disconnect a cable of gas and remove its basic arm.
5. Disconnect the line of supply of fuel (the line of a high pressure), remove a sealing ring.
6. Disconnect from a head of cylinders / the inlet pipeline the top radiatorny hose, perepuskny a hose of an okhladitelny path and a heater hose.
7. Disconnect the vacuum line from assembly of the servo-driver of the brake amplifier.
8. Remove the line of return of fuel.
9. Mark and disconnect the vacuum hoses laid under the inlet pipeline. Also disconnect from a cover of a head of cylinders PCV hose.
10. Mark and disconnect wire VV from a cover of the distributor of ignition.
11. Mark and disconnect all other electroconducting, including brought to the distributor and injectors of injection of fuel.

Pay attention that some wires should be disconnected from a partition of an impellent compartment. After all sockets will be расстыкованы, turn out fixture of basic arms of a plait of electroconducting of a control system and take away the last aside.

12. Release a collar of fastening of hoses of central airs and wheel hydrostrengthening on the top part of an arm of the left support of a suspension bracket of the power unit. Without disconnecting, take hoses aside.
13. Prop up the engine a telezhechny jack (for the purpose of distribution of loading lay between a head of a jack and the engine pallet wooden whetstone). Cock a jack, having completely unloaded support of the power unit, however without lifting the last.
14. Turn out a through bolt of the left support of the unit (in case of need поварьируйте the provision of a jack for the purpose of simplification of extraction of a bolt). After extraction of a through bolt, give the remained fixture and remove a basic arm from the engine.
15. Uncover heads of cylinders and its sealing laying. Remove from a head of cylinders a semi-ring stopper.
16. Remove the top cover of a gas-distributing belt. Having turned a cranked shaft clockwise, achieve combination of all provided adjusting labels, - the engine should appear in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder.
17. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove a camshaft cogwheel, with the gear belt of a drive of GRM fixed on it, - lay assembly on the bottom section of a forward cover.

Try not to allow provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft at the removed gas-distributing belt!

18. Give самоконтрящиеся nuts and turn out a small bolt of fastening of a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases to a final collector. Separate a pipe from a collector and remove sealing laying.
19. Turn out bolts of fastening of a basic arm to the lower part of the inlet pipeline.

20. Operating in strictly certain order, by means of a six-sided key (MV 998051-01) in two-three receptions weaken bolts of fastening of a head, then turn out them manually.

21. Having shaken here and there or обстучав on perimeter a hammer with soft brisk, separate a head from the block.

Do not torture to hook at all the "become attached" head the lever under an interfaced surface, - in case of need обстучите it on perimeter a hammer through wooden whetstone.

22. Remove a head assembled with the inlet pipeline / the delivery chamber and a final collector, - in case of need use the help of the assistant. Transfer assembly on a workbench and lay on pair of wooden blocks. In case of need make head dismantle. The description of procedure of cleaning and service of a head of cylinders is provided below in the present Chapter.
23. Before installation the head should is completely collected on a workbench that gives a guarantee of correctness of installation and fastening of each of established components.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and a material of old laying. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on the block new sealing laying (identification marking up).

Laying keeps within dry, without application of any hermetics.

3. Accurately establish a head on the block, - try not to displace laying.

4. Screw fixing bolts and, it is strict in a certain order, in three stages, tighten them with demanded effort (see. Specifications).

5. Establish on the inlet pipeline a basic arm, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (22 H • м).
6. Having replaced sealing laying, connect to a final collector a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases. Screw new самоконтрящиеся fixing nuts and tighten them with demanded effort (35 H • м).
7. Make sure that the camshaft was not turned, then establish on it a cogwheel assembled with a gear belt. Screw a fixing bolt and tighten it with effort of 91 H • m.
8. Establish the top cover of a gas-distributing belt. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (11 H • м).
9. Grease with hermetic contact surfaces of a semi-ring stopper and establish the last on the regular place in a head of cylinders. Having replaced laying, establish a cover of a head of cylinders.
10. Establish on the engine a support arm подвеса the power unit, tighten fixing elements (boltovy pairs) with demanded effort (57 H • м).
11. Having worked as a jack, achieve combination of openings in a support under installation of a through bolt. Establish a bolt and strongly tighten nuts.
12. Slowly lower a jack, having completely transferred unit weight on a support, then tighten a through bolt of the last with effort of 71 H • m. Tighten a small lock-nut with effort of 36 H • m.
13. Establish from above on a support arm an assembly bracket of fastening of hoses of central airs of air and wheel hydrostrengthening.
14. Get on the regular place an electrocontrol run plait. Screw and tighten fixing bolts. Restore initial connection of electroconducting, having tracked correctness of its laying and reliability of fixing of the socket.
15. Connect candle wires to a cover of the distributor of ignition.
16. Connect vacuum hoses and PCV hose.
17. Connect the line of return of fuel. Connect a vacuum hose to assembly of the servo-driver of the brake amplifier.
18. Establish a hose of a heater, perepuskny a branch pipe of a water path and the top radiatorny hose, - track correctness of laying of hoses (try not to allow twisting and excessive excesses) and reliability of fastening them the collars.
19. Having replaced a sealing ring, connect the line of supply of fuel to the fuel highway (before installation it is necessary to grease a ring slightly with pure gasoline). Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with effort not 6 H • m (not above).
20. Connect and adjust a gas cable.
21. Connect an air inlet sleeve.
22. Fill in in the engine fresh cooling liquid (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
23. For the purpose of minimization of risk of pollution of impellent oil make change of the last (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
24. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
25. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of development of leakages of working liquids and depression losses. Check serviceability of functioning of electric equipment, including an instrument guard and lighting devices.
26. In case of need make adjustment of driving belts and level of working liquids (a cooler and impellent oil).


Whether engines 1.6 of 2.0 l of DOHC

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

3. Empty cooling system.

4. Disconnect from the throttle case a gas cable.

On the models equipped with a control system of speed (темпостат) two cables of a drive of a butterfly valve are provided.

5. Remove air purifier assembly with an air inlet.
6. Disconnect electroconducting from the oxygen sensor (О2), the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (eats) also the measuring instrument sensor / датчика-выключателя (on models with To/in) engine temperatures.
7. Disconnect electroconducting from the driving electromotor of system of stabilization of turns of idling (ISC), the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS), the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft, the detonation sensor (model with a turbo-supercharging) and the sensor of temperature of EGR (the Californian models), and also from injectors of injection of fuel, the power transistor and the filter of suppression of noise. Disconnect the tire of grounding and a plait of electroconducting of the engine.
8. Remove the top radiatorny hose and a perelivny tube.
9. Remove the central cover of protection of VV of electroconducting and disconnect wires from spark plugs.
10. Disconnect (and at once закупорьте) the line of supply of fuel.
11. Disconnect a small vacuum hose.
12. Remove a hose of a heater and perepuskny a hose of a water path.
13. Remove PCV hose.
14. On models with a turbo-supercharging remove vacuum hoses and lines of a water path, then turn out a hollow bolt of shtutserny connection and disconnect from turbokompressor assembly an oil pipeline.
15. Disconnect (and at once закупорьте) the line of return of fuel.
16. Disconnect a vacuum hose of the brake amplifier.
17. Remove a gas-distributing belt.
18. Uncover heads of cylinders and semicircular consolidation.
19. On models without a turbo-supercharging give самоконтрящиеся nuts and disconnect a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector. Remove sealing laying.
20. On models with a turbo-supercharging remove the metal thermofilter, then turn out bolts of fastening of assembly of a turbokompressor to a final collector.

21. Operating strictly in a certain order, in three steps, release bolts of fastening of a head.

22. Remove from the block of cylinders a head and its sealing laying.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and a material of old laying. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Check a condition of a head and estimate degree of its not planeness. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. In case of need give a head and/or the block to a pro-point.

During a pro-point from a surface of the head/block no more than 0.2 mm of metal should act in film.

3. Lay on the block new sealing laying (identification marking up).

Laying keeps within dry, without application of any hermetics. On models of the corresponding complete set establish laying and a sealing ring of assembly of a turbokompressor.

4. Accurately establish a head on the block.

5. Screw fixing bolts and, strictly in a certain order, in three steps, tighten them with demanded effort (90 ÷ 100 H • m for the cold engine).

At check of effort of a tightening of fixture of a head on the hot engine control value makes 100 ÷ 110 H • m.

6. On models with a turbo-supercharging establish the thermofilter. On models without a turbo-supercharging replace sealing laying and connect a reception pipe to a final collector.
7. Grease with hermetic perimeter of a semicircular sealing insert and bottom edges of semicircular sections of new laying from a forward cover, then establish a cover of a head of cylinders.
8. Establish a gas-distributing belt with accompanying components.
9. Restore initial connection of communication and electric lines. Connect and adjust a cable (ы) a butterfly valve drive.
10. Establish the central cover of protection of VV of electroconducting.
11. Having replaced sealing rings, connect both fuel lines.
12. Establish air purifier assembly with an air inlet. Connect a branch pipe сапуна.
13. Replace impellent oil and the oil filter.
14. Fill in in the engine fresh cooling liquid (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
15. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
16. Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the thermostat should open), then modify as appropriate level of cooling liquid in a radiator.
17. Check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition. In case of need make the corresponding adjustments.
18. After final cooling of the engine once again check level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 2.4 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. Remove an air purifier assembled with an air inlet.
4. Empty cooling system.

5. Disconnect a gas cable. Give fixture of basic arms and take hummock assembly aside.

7. Mark and disconnect from the throttle case vacuum lines.

Disconnect electroconducting from the compressor of central air of air, the sensor switch of pressure of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (GUR), the oxygen sensor (О2), the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (ECT) and the sensor of a measuring instrument of temperature of the engine, the sensor of absolute pressure in the pipeline (MAP), the sensor of temperature of soaked-up air (IAT), the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS), the sensor of provision of a camshaft (CMP), the electromagnetic EGR valve, the electromotor of a drive of the device of stabilization of turns of idling (IAC), injectors of injection of fuel and the ignition coil.
10. Remove the central cover of protection of VV of electroconducting and disconnect candle wires.

11. Disconnect hoses of an okhladitelny path and отболтите a thermostat casing from the engine.

12. Remove the top cover of a gas-distributing belt.
13. Achieve the correct combination of all provided adjusting labels.
14. A wire fix a gas-distributing belt on a camshaft cogwheel, then remove the last.
15. Uncover heads of cylinders and take a semicircular sealing insert.
16. Disconnect a basic arm from assembly of the inlet pipeline.
17. Give самоконтрящиеся nuts and disconnect a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final collector. Remove sealing laying.
18. Operating strictly in a certain order, in three steps, release bolts of fastening of a head.

Extraction of bolts of fastening of a head is convenient for making by means of a magnet.


19. Remove from the block of cylinders a head and its sealing laying.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and a material of old laying. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.

2. Lay on the block new sealing laying (identification marking up).

Laying keeps within dry, without application of any hermetics.

3. Estimate a condition of fixing bolts, replace the bolts which length exceeds value of 99.4 mm.
4. Before installation slightly grease a carving part of bolts with liquid lubricating oil. Under heads enclose washers (a facet outside).
5. Accurately establish a head on the block.

6. Screw fixing bolts and, strictly in a certain order, in three steps, tighten them with demanded effort (78 H • m - see. Specifications)

7. Replace sealing laying and connect a reception pipe to a final collector. Tighten fixture with demanded effort (44 H • м).
8. Establish a thermostat casing. Screw three fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (24 H • м).
9. Connect to the thermostat hoses of an okhladitelny path.
10. Grease with hermetic perimeter of a semicircular sealing insert and bottom edges of semicircular sections of new laying from a forward cover, then establish a cover of a head of cylinders.
11. Establish a gas-distributing belt with accompanying components.

On forget to untie a belt from a camshaft cogwheel.

12. Restore initial connection of communication and electric lines. Connect and adjust a cable (ы) a butterfly valve drive.
13. Establish the top cover of a gas-distributing belt.
14. Establish on the inlet pipeline a basic arm, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (30 H • м).
15. Connect electroconducting to O2, ECT, MAP, IAT, TPS and CMP sensors, and also to the To/in compressor, the sensor switch of pressure of GUR, the driving IAC motor, injection injectors, the coil of ignition and the electromagnetic EGR valve.
16. Connect VV electroconducting and establish a protective cover of candle wires.
17. Having replaced sealing rings, connect fuel lines.
18. Establish an air purifier with an air inlet. Connect a branch pipe сапуна.
19. Fill in in the engine fresh cooling liquid (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
20. Connect a negative wire to the battery.


Engines of 3.0 l of DOHC

Removal

5. Remove assembly of the inlet pipeline with the delivery chamber (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).
6. Remove a final collector (see. Section Removal and installation of a final collector).
7. Remove a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt).
8. Remove a branch pipe сапуна.
9. Remove the central cover of protection of VV of electroconducting and disconnect wires from spark plugs.
10. Remove covers of heads of cylinders.
11. Remove a cogwheel of an inlet camshaft.
12. Remove a back cover of a gas-distributing belt.
13. Remove the ignition coil.

15. Disconnect from a forward head a branch pipe of an admission of water.

16. Operating as it should be, the return shown on an illustration, in three steps release bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of heads and the block of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of hermetic and a material of old laying. In summary wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Lay on the block new sealing laying (identification marking up).

Laying keeps within dry, without application of any hermetics.

3. Accurately establish a head on the block.

4. Having enclosed washers (a facet up), screw fixing bolts and, strictly in a certain order, in three steps, evenly tighten them with demanded effort (105 ÷ 115 H • м).

5. Having replaced a sealing ring, connect to a head a branch pipe of an admission of water. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (12 ÷ 15 H • м).
6. Having replaced sealing laying, establish on the regular place a thermostat casing. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with effort of 17 ÷ 20 H • m.
7. Connect to the thermostat hoses of an okhladitelny path and reliably fix them new collars.
8. Establish the ignition coil, having tightened bolts of its fastening with demanded effort (10 H • м).
9. Establish a back cover of a drive of GRM, - the demanded effort of a tightening of bolts of a cover makes 24 H • m.
10. Establish cogwheels of an inlet camshaft.
Screw a fixing bolt and tighten it with demanded effort (90 H • м).

11. Grease with hermetic bottom edges of a cover of a head of cylinders. Screw fixing bolts and, operating strictly in a certain order, evenly tighten them with demanded effort (5 ÷ 6 H • м).

12. Connect candle wires and establish the central cover of protection of VV of electroconducting. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (3 H • м).
13. Connect a branch pipe сапуна.
14. Establish a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt).
15. Establish assembly of a final collector (see. Section Removal and installation of a final collector).
16. Having replaced sealing laying, establish assembly of the inlet pipeline with the delivery chamber (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).
17. Establish sleeves of air inlets.
18. Make replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
19. Fill in in the engine fresh cooling liquid (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
20. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
21. Adjust a gas cable.
22. Start the engine, warm up it to normal working temperature and check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition. In case of need make the corresponding adjustments.
23. After final cooling of the engine once again check level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 3.0 l of SOHC

Removal

5. Remove assembly of the inlet pipeline with the delivery chamber (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).

7. Remove cogwheels of camshafts and a back cover of a gas-distributing belt.
8. Remove a basic arm of the steering pump.

At dismantle of a head of a back row of cylinders remove, respectively, a basic arm of the generator.

9. Disconnect a branch pipe of an admission of water.
10. Remove assembly of a blowing-off tube.
11. Uncover heads of cylinders.

12. Operating as it should be, the return shown on an illustration, in three steps release bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders.

13. Remove a head and its sealing laying.


Installation

10. Having replaced sealing laying, establish assembly of the inlet pipeline with the delivery chamber (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).
11. Establish a final collector (see. Section Removal and installation of a final collector).
12. Establish an air inlet sleeve.

6. Connect candle wires.
7. Establish the inlet pipeline and a final collector.
8. Establish a gas-distributing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM and gas-distributing belt).
9. Establish all other, acting in film for the purpose of ensuring access, components.
10. Fill in in the engine fresh cooling liquid (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
11. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
