Failed GTTs is subject to replacement. Manufacturers do not recommend to undertake attempt of carrying out regenerative repair of the main brake cylinder.

Brake liquid is among aggressive chemical compounds and at contact to body panels destroys a paint and varnish covering. Before starting performance of procedure cover wings and the panel of a front of the car with special covers, or simply old blankets.



1. Details of installation of the main brake cylinder are shown on illustrations.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. Remove a plastic cover, by means of a syringe or a rubber pear pump out from the GTTs tank as the bigger amount of brake liquid is possible, then establish a cover into place.

4. Disconnect from GTTs and at once закупорьте brake lines.

5. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor switch of level of brake liquid, release fixture and remove the GTTs tank.

6. On models from RKPP remove a basic arm of the tank of the main hydraulic cylinder of coupling.
7. Give fixing nuts and remove GTTs from assembly of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.



1. Execute adjustment of a gap And between an end face of a rod of a pusher of the vacuum amplifier and a nest bottom in the GTTs primary piston. The nominal rate makes 0.65 ÷ 0.86 mm, at depth of depression in the amplifier of 67 kPas the gap will be reduced to 0.1 ÷ 0.3 mm.

2. Establish GTTs on assembly of the vacuum amplifier of brakes. Screw fixing nuts and tighten them with demanded effort (10 H • м).
3. Establish on a place and fix the GTTs tank.
4. Connect to the tank hydraulic lines and electroconducting of the sensor of level of brake liquid.
5. Further installation is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components.
6. In summary fill in in the tank fresh brake DOT 3 liquid, pump over a hydraulic path (see. The section Pumping of brake system) also execute adjustment of a pedal of a foot brake (see. Section Adjustment of a pedal of a foot brake).
