Replacement of a filtering element of an air purifier

Replacement of a filtering element is made regularly according to the schedule of routine maintenance of the car. During car operation the condition of the filter should be checked rather often, in particular in the conditions of strongly dusty district.

All models, except 2.0 l equipped with the engine with a turbo-supercharging

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Release clamps of fastening of a cover of an air purifier.

3. Weaken a collar of fastening of an air sleeve on the throttle case.

4. Disconnect from an air inlet a ventilating branch pipe.

5. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor of measurement of weight of air (MAF).

6. Separate an air purifier cover from the case and remove it assembled with a final air line.

7. Take from the air purifier case filtering element.

8. Visually estimate a condition of a filtering element, in case of strong pollution make replacement. Filter moderately hammered by a dust can be blown the compressed air (through a back surface).

When using the compressed air surely put on goggles! The filtering element made of a wax paper cannot be washed out with application of oils or solvents if to achieve satisfactory result by a purge it is not possible, make replacement.

In order to avoid premature wear of internal components of the engine and emergence of flashes in a final path do not maintain the car with the taken air filter!

9. Carefully wipe internal surfaces of the case and an air purifier cover.
10. Establish a replaceable filtering element, track correctness of its landing in a casing.
11. Plant into place an air purifier cover.
12. Connect a final air line to the case of a throttle and strongly tighten a fixing collar.
13. Connect electroconducting to the MAF sensor.
14. Latch clamps of fastening of a cover of an air purifier.
15. Connect a negative wire to the battery.

Models of 2.0 l with a turbo-supercharging

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. The scheme of connection of components of an inlet air path is presented on an illustration.

3. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor of measurement of an air stream (on a volume expense).
4. Release fixture of a hose of system of pressurization.
5. Disconnect the electromagnetic valve assembled with the hoses brought to it.
6. Release bolts of fastening of an air purifier.
7. Release clamps and uncover an air purifier.

Try not to damage the sensor of measurement of an air stream fixed on a cover!

8. Take filtering element.
9. Visually estimate a condition of a filtering element, in case of strong pollution make replacement. Filter moderately hammered by a dust can be blown the compressed air (through a back surface).

11. Fill in an air purifier casing a new filtering element. Establish and fix clamps an assembly cover.
12. Establish air purifier assembly on the regular place, screw and tighten fixing bolts.
13. Connect an air inlet sleeve.
14. Connect the electromagnetic valve.
15. Connect electroconducting to the sensor of measurement of an air stream.
16. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
