Removal and installation of levers of screen wipers

The procedure given below is made for levers of cleaners of a windscreen. Removal and installation of elements of a back screen wiper on the Versatile person Diamante models and Mirage the Hatchback are made in a similar manner.


Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!


2. Remove a protective cap and give a nut of fastening of the lever of a screen wiper.

3. Remove the lever from a spindle of a rotary axis.


Installation

Pay attention to marking of levers, - driver's assembly is marked with letters of D or Dr, passenger - And or As. Marking is put in the lower part of the basis of the lever.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Plant the screen wiper lever on a spindle of a rotary axis of the driving mechanism, - track, that brushes of the established screen wipers were in parking situation at distance about 2.5 cm from a facing molding.
2. Screw a fixing nut and tighten it with demanded effort (14 ÷ 19 H • м).
3. Connect a negative wire to the battery and check serviceability of functioning of screen wipers.
