Remember that gasoline is extremely inflammable liquid! At work with components of a power supply system observe all taken measures of fire safety. Do not smoke! Do not come nearer to a venue of works with open fire or unprotected by the lamp shade carrying! Do not make system service in the rooms equipped with working at natural gas and heating devices equipped with a control torch (such as водогреи and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., - the substances promoting development of a cancer! Try not to allow fuel hits on open sites of a body, use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact to fuel carefully wash out hands warm water with soap. Immediately collect the spilled fuel and do not put the rags impregnated with a fuels and lubricants near sources of open fire. Remember that the power supply system equipped with injection of fuel of models constantly is under pressure. Before starting a detachment of fuel lines, dump residual pressure in system. At service of components of a power supply system put on goggles. Constantly hold near at hand the class B fire extinguisher!


Engines 1. 5 l, 1.8 l and 2.0 l of SOHC

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of the fuel highway on models of 1.5 l, 1.8 l and 2.0 l of SOHC are presented on illustrations.
2. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see. Undressed Sbrasyvaniye pressure in a power supply system).
3. Disconnect PCV hose from a cover of a head of cylinders. From the opposite side of a cover disconnect a branch pipe сапуна.
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of the line of supply of fuel (the pressure head line) and disconnect the last from the fuel highway, - prepare for collecting spilled fuel, at once закупорьте the open ends of the line and the union in order to avoid internal pollution of a path of a power supply system.
5. Remove a vacuum hose from a regulator of pressure of fuel.
6. Disconnect from a regulator the returnable line
7. Previously having marked, disconnect electroconducting from injectors of injection of fuel.
8. Turn out bolts of fastening of assembly of the fuel highway to the inlet pipeline. Accurately lift the highway and remove it from the engine, - track, that injectors did not drop out of assembly. Transfer the removed assembly on a workbench and wrap up injectors a polyethylene film in order to avoid hit in dirt.
9. Take from assembly of the inlet pipeline landing insulating plugs of injectors, - at assembly of the plug are subject to replacement without fail.
10. Accurately liberate injectors from assembly of the fuel highway together with the landing plugs planted on them and sealing rings.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Plant in each of landing ports of injectors new insulating (sealing) plugs.
2. Remove from injectors old sealing plugs and sealing rings and establish on their place the new.

Before installation it is necessary to grease sealing rings with pure impellent oil slightly.

3. Having replaced a sealing ring, establish a regulator of pressure upon assembly of the fuel highway. Check freedom of rotation of a regulator, in case of need remove a regulator and check, whether the sealing ring is overwound. If everything is all right, achieve combination of openings, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort (9 H • м).

This procedure should be executed even in case the fuel highway did not act in film.

4. Rotary progress plant injectors to the fuel highway. Check freedom of rotation of the established injectors, in case of need take the corresponding injector and check, whether the sealing ring is braided.
5. Establish assembly of the fuel highway on the regular place on the engine, - track, that each of injectors correctly entered into the reception nest (with the insulating plug planted in it).
6. Screw bolts of fastening of the fuel highway and tighten them with demanded effort (12 H • м).
7. Connect to injectors electroconducting.
8. Connect a hose of return of fuel to a pressure regulator, afterwards connect a vacuum hose.
9. Having replaced a sealing ring (before installation it is necessary to grease a ring with liquid impellent oil), restore initial connection of the pressure head line (the line of supply of fuel). Screw and tighten fixing bolts.
10. Connect a hose of PCV and a branch pipe сапуна.
11. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Lift pressure in system and check a path on existence of signs of development of leaks.


Engines of 1.6 l and 2.0 l of DOHC

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of the fuel highway on models of 1.6 l and 2.0 l of DOHC are presented on an illustration.
2. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see. Undressed Sbrasyvaniye pressure in a power supply system).
3. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

4. Having wrapped up the shtutserny socket rags, disconnect from the fuel highway a hose of supply of fuel (the pressure head line).
5. Disconnect the returnable line and remove a sealing ring of its shtutserny socket.
6. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a regulator of pressure of fuel
7. Disconnect PCV hose. On models of 2.0 l remove the central cover of the unit.
8. Previously having marked, disconnect electroconducting from injectors of injection of fuel.
9. Turn out bolts of fastening of the fuel highway.
10. Accurately remove assembly of the fuel highway from the engine - track, that rubber landing plugs did not drop out.
11. Liberate from the highway injectors, - the bottom sealing plugs are subject to replacement without fail.
12. Measure electric resistance of each of injectors. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications (2 ÷ 3 Ohm [at 20°С] for engines of 2.0 l with a turbo-supercharging and 13 ÷ 15 Ohm [at 20°С] for other engines).


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish on injectors new insulating plugs and sealing rings
2. Establish injectors on the regular places on the fuel highway.
3. Having replaced landing plugs, establish assembly of the fuel highway on the inlet pipeline. Before tightening fixing bolts, make sure available on the seats of all rubber plugs provided by a design.
4. Tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort (11 H • м).
5. Connect to injectors electroconducting and establish the central cover. Connect PCV hose.
6. Connect a vacuum hose to a regulator of pressure of fuel.
7. Connect a hose of return of fuel.
8. Having replaced a sealing ring (before installation grease a new ring with liquid oil), connect the line of supply of fuel (the pressure head line).
9. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Lift pressure in system and check a path on existence of signs of development of leaks.


Engines of 2.4 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see. Undressed Sbrasyvaniye pressure in a power supply system).
2. Previously having marked, disconnect from spark plugs and take aside VV electroconducting.
3. Disconnect from a cover of a head of cylinders PCV hose.
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of the pressure head line to the fuel highway. Disconnect the line, - prepare for collecting spilled fuel. In order to avoid internal pollution of a path of a power supply system at once закупорьте the open ends of the line and the shtutserny socket.

5. Disconnect from a pressure regulator a vacuum hose and the line of return of fuel.

6. Previously having marked, disconnect electroconducting from injectors of injection of fuel.

7. Turn out bolts of fastening of assembly of the fuel highway to the inlet pipeline. Accurately lift the highway and remove it from the engine, - track, that injectors did not drop out of assembly. Transfer the removed assembly on a workbench and wrap up injectors a polyethylene film in order to avoid hit in dirt.

8. Take from assembly of the inlet pipeline landing insulating plugs of injectors, - at assembly of the plug are subject to replacement without fail.

Engines of 3.0 l and 3.5 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of the fuel highway on models of 3.0 l and 3.5 l of DOHC are presented on illustrations.
2. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see. Undressed Sbrasyvaniye pressure in a power supply system).
3. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

4. Empty cooling system (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
5. Disconnect all components from the delivery chamber of an inlet air path and remove the chamber from assembly of the inlet pipeline (see. Head of the Power supply system and release).
6. Having wrapped up the shtutserny socket rags, disconnect from the fuel highway a hose of supply of fuel (the pressure head line).
7. Disconnect the returnable line and remove a sealing ring of its shtutserny socket.
8. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a regulator of pressure of fuel
9. Previously having marked, disconnect electroconducting from injectors of injection of fuel.
10. Lift the receiver, connecting fuel highways. Turn out bolts of fastening of assemblies of fuel highways.
11. Accurately remove assemblies of fuel highways from the engine - track, that rubber landing plugs did not drop out.
12. Liberate from highways injectors, - the bottom sealing plugs are subject to replacement without fail.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

On some models injectors are fixed on highways by means of clamps. Do not forget to establish clamps into place at assembly.

1. Having greased with liquid oil, establish on injectors new insulating plugs and sealing rings.
2. Establish injectors on the regular places on assemblies of fuel highways.
3. Having replaced landing plugs, establish assemblies of fuel highways on the inlet pipeline. Before tightening fixing bolts, make sure available on the seats of all rubber plugs provided by a design.
4. Tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort (10 ÷ 13 H • м).
5. Connect to injectors electroconducting.
6. Connect a hose of return of fuel.
7. Having replaced a sealing ring (before installation grease a new ring with liquid oil), connect the line of supply of fuel (the pressure head line).
8. Having replaced sealing laying, establish assembly of the delivery chamber on the inlet pipeline (see. Head Engine).
9. Fill cooling system (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
10. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Lift pressure in system and check a path on existence of signs of development of leaks.
