Engines of 2.0 l of DOHC (only Galant 1990 ÷ 1993 of вып.)

General information

The most part of refusals of a turbokompressor appear connected with violation of supply of oil. Leaks at switching off of the engine can lead to hit of impellent oil in a turbokompressor and a zakoksovyvaniya маслотоков, - first of all always check passableness of lines of giving and oil return. At connection of lines of an oil path without fail make replacement of both sealing washers of hollow bolts of shtutserny connections.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of a turbokompressor are presented on illustrations.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. Merge impellent oil, empty system of cooling and remove a radiator. On the models equipped To/in, assembled with a radiator remove also central air fan.

In order to avoid receiving burns, start performance of the listed works only after final cooling of system! Do not allow antifreeze hit on open sites of a body and the painted surfaces of the car. Casually got splashes immediately wash away a plentiful quantity of water. Remember that antifreeze is extremely toxic liquid and its hit in an organism even in small amounts is fraught with the most serious consequences (up to a lethal outcome). Never leave antifreeze being stored in leaky closed container and immediately collect cooling liquid spilled on a floor. Remember that the sweetish smell of antifreeze can draw to itself attention of children and animals. About ways utilization of the fulfilled cooling liquid consult at any station of car-care center. In many regions of the world special points on different reception of working off are equipped. At all do not merge old cooling liquid in the sewerage and on the earth!

4. Disconnect electroconducting and remove the oxygen sensor.
5. Take щуп measurements of impellent oil, remove its directing tube.
6. Remove the goffered airintaking hose, a hose of dumping of depression, branch pipes of connection of a final air hose, and also the top and bottom thermofilters.
7. To Otboltita the steering pump also shift it aside assembled with a basic arm, without disconnecting hydraulic hoses.
8. Give самоконтрящиеся nuts of fastening of a final collector, remove a triangular eye of lifting of the power unit, turn out a hollow bolt of shtutserny connection of the line of supply of oil to the central section of a turbokompressor (do not forget to remove both sealing washers), also disconnect lines of an okhladitelny path.

Passing under turbokompressor assembly the line of a water path is equipped with shtutserny connection of carving type.

9. Give fixing nuts, disconnect a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases and separate from the engine a final collector and its sealing laying.
10. Turn out two through bolts and give two nuts of fastening of a final collector to turbokompressor assembly.
11. Turn out two screws caps from the turbokompressor passed under assembly returnable маслотока, remove sealing laying. Separate a turbokompressor from a final collector (two tubes of a water path and one oil line can be left connected).
12. Attentively examine turbine wheels (hot section of assembly) and the compressor (cold section) on existence of cracks and other mechanical damages. Manually check freedom of rotation of both wheels. Make sure of lack of signs of development of leakages of oil. Check ability of the spuskny valve to remain abroach. Defective components replace, in case of need clean маслотоки.
13. Serviceability of a condition of the device of dumping can be checked by a way of testing by pressure. Create on the actuation mechanism pressure approximately in 62 kPas and make sure of possibility of moving of a rod.

Pressure applying can lead more than 71 kPas to diaphragm damage! At creation on the actuation mechanism of depression, the last should keep reliably, - in case of identification of leaks replace assembly.

It is not necessary to undertake attempts of adjustment of the trigger valve!

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Fill the maslovozvratny line with pure impellent oil. Replace all lock-nuts. Before installation of carving connection of a tube of an admission of water slightly grease with liquid oil an internal surface of a connecting flange. Establish a turbokompressor on a final collector.
2. Establish assembly of a final collector on the regular place (do not forget to replace sealing laying).
3. Connect lines of the okhladitelny path, submitting oil pipeline and an elevating eye of the power unit.
4. If removed, establish into place assembly of the steering pump with the basic arm.
5. Establish thermofilters, a final air branch pipe, a trigger hose and the goffered air lines.
6. Establish radiator assembly.
7. Fill in in the engine fresh engine oil, fill system of cooling and connect a negative wire to the battery.
